The Row Paris Flagship Store: A Visit to an Elegant Family Home
Following its stores in New York, London, Hampstead, and Los Angeles, The Row has opened a flagship store in Paris. This new store offers the feeling of visiting someone’s home rather than a conventional retail space. Previously a restaurant, the location exudes a unique atmosphere distinct from the brand's existing stores. Olsen sisters explained that they aimed to make the store feel like part of the neighborhood and wanted to create a cozy, familiar vibe. Designed as a minimalist yet elegant space that preserves the historical structure of the industrial-style building, the store replicates the ambiance of a third home. The interiors feature two iconic armchairs by Henrik Wouda and a 1930s coffee table by modernist Michel Dufet, paired with custom-made seating arrangements. The fitting room includes notable design pieces such as a door by Jean Prouvé.

Cad & The Dandy: Bespoke Collection Specialist Opens New York Store
As casualization has become widespread, many men have abandoned suits. However, the unique experience of wearing a custom suit still offers a special luxury that appeals to male consumers. The growing need for “properly tailored suits that fit perfectly” represents an important shift in consumer demand. Department stores are also adapting to this trend by focusing on customization, as seen with Macy’s Herald Square revamping its tailoring department and other brands like Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Hugo Boss opening specialized stores.

Stores dedicated to more serious, bespoke tailoring are also being redefined. For instance, Cad & The Dandy, a bespoke menswear store originally based in London’s Savile Row, has now opened a new store in New York. Since 2018, Cad & The Dandy has been operating a by-appointment-only tailoring service in a two-story space that will remain intact. However, the focus of the store will shift to offering bespoke formalwear collections, including suits, tuxedos, blazers, coats, shirts, and knitwear, catering to men seeking tailored menswear.

Unlike traditional ready-to-wear brands, the bespoke suits from Cad & The Dandy are handcrafted and reflect a classic British aesthetic, with meticulous attention to structure, shape, and fit. The brand's founder, Meiers, commented: “Creating bespoke suits also requires 50 hours of craftsmanship. These days, many suits lack proper structuring, so 20–30% of men find it challenging to get the right fit without slight adjustments afterward.” The focus on refined, made-to-measure suits highlights the brand's commitment to offering a personalized luxury experience.

Kith & Giorgio Armani: The Archetype Lookbook
Kith and Armani have collaborated to create The Archetype, a capsule collection based on four archetypes: Artist, Entertainer, Traveler, and Entrepreneur. The collection showcases how men with diverse characteristics can incorporate suits as the foundation for blending casual and sophisticated styles.

The campaign features renowned film director Martin Scorsese, actor and musician Lakeith Stanfield, actor Pierce Brosnan, and Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, each representing one of the archetypes.
